Jim Manfredonia is the Co-Founder and President of the Domestic Church Media Foundation, Inc.  He and his wife, Cheryl, are committed to promoting the cause of marriage and family life through Catholic media.

Mr. Manfredonia holds a BA in Communications from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey with a specialization in Radio and Television Broadcasting.  His minor course of study was Theology.

From 1977 until 1983 he taught Theology at two central New Jersey high schools.  For the next fifteen years he worked for the Federal Express Corporation as a Customer Service Operations Manager and then as a Senior Training Specialist.

In 1996 Jim was given the opportunity to be the guest host of a local Philadelphia Catholic radio program heard on WTMR 800AM.  One year later Jim began hosting his own daily program, "Come To Me", on that same station.  He was often joined on the air by Cheryl and their children, Joseph, Angela and Anthony. They received very positive listener responses to their work on the radio and it was during this time that he felt a strong prompting to establish a 24-hour Catholic radio station in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  Through his contacts with EWTN, the Global Catholic Television and Radio Network, his prayer, and the prayers of thousands of people in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, were answered.  A local Pennsylvania foundation purchased a station and hired Jim to be the Station Manager.  On March 19, 1999, Jim went on the air for the first time and introduced the area to Catholic radio.

In addition to his many responsibilities as Station Manager , Jim also hosted his own program, "Come To Me", from 3:00 - 4:00 PM each day.  He became well-known for his ability to present the teachings of the Church in a clear and understandable manner, always faithful to the teachings and without compromise.  He would often share the many writings of Pope John Paul II, as well as reflect on Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.  With his knowledge and love for the Church he also developed a perceptive and appealing interviewing style.  Included among his many guests were Mother Angelica, Father John Corapi, Father Benedict Groeschel, Scott Hahn, Bob & Penny Lord, Father Frank Pavone, Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, Father Andrew Apostoli and Johnnette Benkovic.  Jim was sometimes joined by Cheryl and their children for special programs.  This format became a favorite among the local listening audience.

Jim and Cheryl also hosted a weekly drive-time program called "Monday Morning Live" on which they reported Catholic world and local news, played familiar songs and hymns, and shared information and ideas that were of great interest to Catholic parents and families.  This program was a favorite with the listeners.

Jim has had articles about Catholic family life published in national Catholic publications.  He is a composer of contemporary Catholic music and along with Cheryl, they have established a successful music ministry.  Together they have released four CD's of contemporary and traditional Catholic music.

In May, 2003, Jim and Cheryl incorporated the Domestic Church Media Foundation with the intention of producing quality television and radio programs for distribution throughout the U.S. as well as establishing a Catholic radio station in New Jersey with coverage that would eventually include New York City.

On July 25, 2008, the Manfredonias announced that Domestic Church Media had signed a contract to purchase a 5000 watt station, WBUD 1260 AM in Trenton.  The purchase is expected to be completed by April, 2009.

Mr. Manfredonia is an excellent public speaker and has spoken at numerous functions and events in and around the Philadelphia area about topics that are important to Catholic parents and families.

He and Mrs. Manfredonia have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of three children, Joseph (19), Angela (17) and Anthony (15).
